The Stocking Droppers *Halloween at the Montague Arms *

First of all, I would like to say a very big thank you to the lovely ladies from the Stocking Droppers.
The whole evening was such a success, and i can barely count how many compliments we received.
The evening was filled of thrills and shrills from the audience, as the lovely ladies showed them the darker side of life.
With our special guest, Mike James from the Rockshow on phonic fm the evenings tunes suited the spooky atmosphere, and sent shivers down every ones spine.
On behalf of all the lovely ladies from the Stocking Droppers, i would like to say a very big thank you to The Montague Arms, The Rockshow Crew, and of course our fantastic audience.
And for those who didn't make it, here are just a few of our snap shots from the night

Lady Lace makes an appearance at London Fashion Week

“The show was a cabaret event held at the prestigious Buddha Bar was styled by Jennifer Ambrose Bethania Matheus and Jacqui Toy.

This was also the launch of the cheeky nipple tassle and pasties range designed for Enamore by Alice Holloway. Holloway-Smith Femme studied jewellery at Central Saint Martins, and dressmaking in the backroom of a dance costume shop and can now turn any breast, boob, or bap in to a veritable feast for the eyes.

The venue décor was opulent, original and playful, with amber coloured lighting, rich mahogany furniture and luxurious fabric in lush reds and gold with a stunning set design by Tom Abel and Lady Lace. The stage set combined with the fabulous soundtrack and the scene was set for guests to experience the sensual playful world of Enamore, where models danced, strutted and flirted their way down the winding stairs and across the centre catwalk.

Our fabulous models included: Lilah, Umi, Hannah, Lucy, Solveig, Alice, Lady Lace, Violet Crumble, Dolly Rose and Fifi Fatale.

Thanks to Mica from Agent for Change and Liz Parry PR for all your hard work to help make our show a great success!

Last but certainly not least thank you to the whole backstage team for all your hard work and to Kit Harrison for music!”

"Saving lives at Sea"

"Saving lives at sea", The Show Stoppers and Stocking Droppers perform at the RNLI charity event.

The RNLI is the charity that provides a 24-hour lifesaving service around the UK and Republic of Ireland.

The volunteer crews give up their time and comfort to carry out rescues in difficult and often dangerous conditions.
The RNLI aims to save lives by changing attitudes and behaviour among people who use the sea regularly.
RNLI lifeguards patrol more than 100 beaches in the UK in peak season and assisted almost 10,000 people last year.
Last year RNLI lifeboats rescued almost 8,000 people, an average of 21 people a day.
Organized by the Fantastic Becki Viner, we helped raise quite an amount !
And in exchange for our efforts, the lads from the RNLI decided to take us on a tour on one of their lifeboats in Plymouth. What lucky girls we are :)
To show them your support, why not check the RNLI at http://www.rnli.org.uk/

The Royal National Lifeboat Institution is a charity registered in England and Wales (209603) and Scotland (SCO37736). The Cavendish Arms, Stockwell

Hello all!

Hello all.Last night we had the absolute pleasure of performing at The Cavendish Arms in Stockwell at a variety night alongside some very talented performers. Lucky for me, Joseph James And The Lost Society - who were due to be performing later in the evening - stepped in and offered to do a live accompaniment for my solo performance as they had heard I was performing to The Stray Cats.

We had an absolutely wonderful evening and it was such an honour to perform alongside such talented artists. Thankyou so much to all who came to show their support!

The Stocking Droppers March The Streets of London

Burlesque dancers protest against Camden council ban

Camden council back tracks on its decision to class burlesque dancers alongside strippers and lap dancers after an army of women take to the streets

WHEN an army of burlesque dancers hits the streets of London, it seems there is little that can stand in their way.

Around 100 performers marched in protest towards Camden Town Hall yesterday, the council hastily backed down over its decision to class them alongside strippers and lap dancers.

Venues in the borough had been banned from holding burlesque shows without an adult entertainment licence, despite vigorous protests that there was no nudity.

But as the women with placards reading: "Don’t Be Prude, It’s Not Rude" began massing outside the town hall, opposite St Pancras Station, officials had a rapid change of heart.

Following a meeting with protesters licensing officials issued a new statement, which stated: "Burlesque performance in its widest form can include various art forms and this alone would not require a licence. The council’s concern is with any performance which may involve nudity".

Now, try and spot out lovely Ladies in Action...

Annabel's Cabaret & Discotheque

Hi guys!

Another quick update, this time about our recent adventure to Plymouth to perform at Annabel's Cabaret & Discotheque. We had the pleasure of performing on both Friday 17th & Saturday 18th supporting some pretty great bands, such as Mad Dog Mcrea, in one of the most beautiful venues I have ever laid eyes on.

A massive thank you to Annabel and all the staff who made us feel so welcome, and to everyone who made it to the show.

And just a quick reminder of dates for those who have allowed it to slip their memory.. We will be performing at The Cavendish Arms in Stockwell on the 30th of this month and then we'll be back at the lovely Annabel's on the 6th August for an RNLI fundraiser.. And NEWS JUST IN.. We'll be staying for the 7th and 8th at Annabels for two more shows!

Unfortunately we didn't manage to organise a photographer for our shows at Annabel's, but we may have a couple of pictures our kind friends have managed to snap for us!

Introducing Pixie Petite

Although we're all terribly sad to see Trixie Tease go, she will be returning to our loving arms once the summer months are over and I'm sure you're all looking forward to her return as much as we are.

But with every cloud there is a silver lining, and I'm very pleased to introduce to you our new dancer. Her name is Pixie Petite, and we're very lucky to have managed to snap this little lady up before anyone else did!

Trixie Tease

Hello everyone, unfortunatly due to unforseen circumstances I'll be spending the summer months in Belfast and won't be able to make it to any of our summer gigs. However I do wish the girls the best of luck with the performances and can't wait to get back in action with them! So, I'll see you in September, tassles-a-twirling for another year of tantalising tease and great fun.

A Lovely weekend Performing in Newquay

Who could have imagined we would ever get away from the big english apple and find ourselves in a perfect paradise?
Welcome to Newquay, a surfers Heaven- which we filled with glitter and tassels for 2 tantalizing nights.
After a hellish trip: 5 hours on a coach to Exeter followed by a stop over of 4 hours- which then lead us to a cramped ride in the back of a South West Water van for an hour or so, we finally arrived at our destination.
No words come to mind to describe it's beauty.
Tolcarne beach is located just outside the city center. With a private beach and stunning love shacks-how could we possibly want to return to London?
We performed both Friday and Saturday nights at the Fistral blue located on Fistral beach. We were greeted by the amazing Gul Team, who throughout our stay made us feel very at home.
On this note I would like to say a very big thank you to the luscious Miss Becki Viner for making everything possible for us.
Now we have returned to reality, we are all working on our new routines for the month of July and missing our new found heaven dearly.
We will be posting our little video of our great adventure very soon- so keep an eye out !
Lots of love Lady Lace
